Day Merrill, M.A., is founding Partner and Career/Executive Coach for 2BDetermined Inc. A 30-year career services professional, Day’s expertise includes presenting, writing training, and coaching individuals, teams, and groups as well as consulting on workforce development for organizations in Canada and the U.S.

Day holds a B.A. in English/Education from Connecticut College, a Master of Arts from Wesleyan University and completed Coach U’s coach certification training. In addition to coaching, Day is a published poet and served as inaugural Poet Laureate for Collingwood, Ontario. A committed social activist, she co-founded @Local Allies with her daughter and uses her writing and speaking skills to address a range of political and social topics.

Day’s global perspective has been enhanced by dividing her time among Canada, the US and the mountains of Costa Rica, where she lives on a former farm with her husband and rescue dog and cat. She is fueled by strong coffee, outrage and unflagging determination – all tempered with love.
