Collingwood-born Brenda C. Miller is making her first contribution to CollingWord this year as a member of the writing contest judging panel. She became a charter member of the Collingwood Writers Collective in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since. Brenda’s work at present revolves around the mysteries and misconceptions about ancestral Black history. A multi-published poet with The Northern-Terminus Journal, she currently has two novels-in-progress vying for her attention, as well as a completed stage script, and she volunteers with the Clarksburg Theatre.
